Help us get #Torah trending in the top ten of Twitter for Shavuot!
Join us in tweeting on Tuesday, June 7, 2011; Erev Shavuot.
This tool breaks up a block of text into twitter-sized portions. When you paste a favorite verse or chapter of Torah into the text box below, it will be converted into 140 character pieces. Each tweet will have the hashtag #Torah automatically added to it, and will also have a tweet count so that your followers can keep track of where you are in your tweeting.
Here's how it works:
- Sign up to get your free copy of the 1917 JPS TANAKH, type in your own portion, or use any other public domain Torah text that you might find online.
- Copy the section that you want to turn into tweets and paste it into the top textbox below.
- Login to twitter or your favorite twitter tool and tweet away! You can schedule your tweets to run anytime you want—early morning, mid-afternoon, or even overnight.
